International Women’s Day means a lot to us here at Vermont Flannel. Being a female co-owned company, we’ve always believed that it’s important to have a female perspective in the mix when making decisions to better deliver flannel to our customers.
To celebrate the whole month of March for Women’s History Month, we posed a simple question to our female employees across Vermont Flannel: “What is your favorite thing about working at Vermont Flannel?” Here is how they answered.
Rachael, Graphic Designer & Marketing Coordinator:
"I don’t get much of a chance to have face-to-face interactions with our customers in the stores, but I do get to interact with them on social media and via email. It's really special to interact with these customers that tag us in their flannel photos or those that share the photos with us on our submission email, firstname.lastname@example.org. It's great to hear how much they love their flannels.”
Erica, General Manager of East Barre Location:
“There isn’t just one thing to love about working at Vermont Flannel! First and foremost, I would say it would be my amazing co-workers I get the chance to work with. And of course, you can’t forget the super-soft cozy flannel. It makes the day that much better!”
Clare, Retail Associate at Church St Location:
“My co-workers feel like family, I love coming into work. The customers are amazing, I've met some great people while working here.”
Jamie, Retail Associate at Ferrisburgh Location:
"My coworkers are the best and flannel isn't a bad uniform at all. I can't stop touching the flannel when I'm at work. I can't stop!"
Grace, Assistant Manager of Ferrisburgh Location:
"I love that I get to meet and talk to so many different people that visit us at our Ferrisburgh store."
We have much respect for all of our female employees. Thank you to them all for being flantastic!
